MISSION, VISION, & PHILOSOPHY

• Mission

  Classically training minds to know wisdom and faithfully forming hearts to worship in the presence, under the authority, and to the glory of Almighty God. This mission establishes our every motivation and provides the necessary framework to guide us in order to graduate young men and women ready to shape culture through wise and victorious Christian living.

  Vision

  To prepare and graduate young men and women who, in pursuit of all that is true, good, and beautiful, become model citizens who cherish and uphold our founding traditions and transform the culture through victorious Christian living.

  Philosophy

  A Christ-centered classical education was central to our forefathers’ ideals and evident in the founding of our nation. Therefore, our nation’s K-12 schools bear a real responsibility because school is the traditional place for the assimilation of children into the life of a nation. If our country and way of life are to continue and prosper, schools need graduate students who are prepared to build on all that is good and rebuild that which is lacking. Educational institutions, along with other foundational institutions of society, including family, faith, and work, bear a unique obligation to foster this growth and citizenship. Coram Deo Academy believes that the time-tested classical approach to education is a proven way to achieve these goals.
  Classical education, by its nature, is systematic, organized, and rigorous. The classical curriculum immerses the student in the enduring ‘Great Conversation of Western Civilization’ and purposefully engages students in the foundational virtues of honesty, courage, self-governance, perseverance, and service. These graduates will have the wherewithal to know how to think and be able to answer the “why” questions with precision, confidence, and force. Coram Deo Academy believes that students who have a classical foundation, coupled directly to the knowledge of their Creator, will love wisdom, do good in all their pursuits of this life, and love that which is beautiful.
